  1. Ron Boothe says:

I noticed in this morning’s TNT BOOKS section that they had picked up two AP stories about Poe. The first was about Poe’s legacy and runs under the headline, “It’s 200 years since his birth, but Edgar Allan Poe remains a potent force in pop culture.” The second is a review of a new anthology of Poe’s work that has just been published called “In the Shadow of the Master”. The review states that in addition to Poe’s works, the anthology includes a number of short vignettes by award winning mystery authors who cite Poe as their inspiration. Review states, “Most of the guest essays sparkle.”
